Sailesh (Say-lesh) grew up in Africa, India, Canada, and the US. He originally trained as an aeronautical engineer at the University of Southern California followed by an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University.
Sailesh was one of the earliest employees of video game giant Activision, where he began his career as a video game Producer. Since then, Sailesh amassed two decades of experience in the production and business sides of the marketing, advertising, entertainment, video game, and ecommerce industries.
Most recently Sailesh was the SVP, Digital Analytics at Deutsch and Crispin, Porter Bogusky, two large US Ad agencies. In his career, Sailesh has been responsible for driving business strategy, digital strategy, and data strategy for clients such as Volkswagen, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, American Express, Microsoft, Dominos Pizza, Disney as well as fast-growing tech companies like Zillow, Uber and many others.

Jacob Toups has over 10 years of experience managing government-funded projects. Most recently he successfully managed the Los Angeles Region of Up2Us Sports. Up2Us is funded by California Volunteers (the California office of the Corporation for National and Community Service). Mr. Toups was responsible for developing and implanting the California fundraising strategy, cultivating new partnerships for the AmeriCorps program, managing California operations and budget, overseeing California staff hiring and development, and collaborating with the Up2Us Sports national team on national and California marketing campaigns.
In the first full year of service at Merging Vets And Players, Jacob created a logic model to establish potential program outcomes and retained an outside evaluator to begin the work necessary to prove the efficacy of our program model. Now he’s working on fundraising, marketing, and strategic outcomes for the organization while deepening the program’s methodology.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic, Government, and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas. Shortly after, he attended the Graduate Program at the Middlebury Institute and graduated with an M.A. in International Policy Studies and Conflict Resolution. He’s also participated in the Annenberg Foundation’s Alchemy courses, The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce’s Southern California Leadership Institute, and sits on the Emerging Leaders Cabinet for United Way of Los Angeles.
